Dirk Hoyer (Jena)

Dirk Hoyer received a Diploma for “Biomedical Engineering and Cybernetics” (Technical University Ilmenau, 1979), a PhD for “nonlinear modelling of physiological behavior” (1985), a professorship for “Biosystem Analysis” (Friedrich Schiller University Jena, 2009). Since 1984 he did research on cardiovascular signals at the Institute for Pathophysiology, since 2006 with the Biomagnetic Center, Hans Berger Department of Neurology, Jena University Hospital. In collaboration with the Department of Obstetrics, he runs a cooperative research group on „Prenatal Monitoring of Autonomic Maturation“.
